It's an archival copy of the release announcement and we generally do
not edit them after the fact.

If you're after dates, the main release notes page
(https://www.openssh.com/releasenotes.html, linked to from the top
level page) has them.  There's anchors pointing to each release (eg
https://www.openssh.com/releasenotes.html#6.8).

Even the most recent release notes are not dated.  It would be nice if
future ones were.

OK we've modified the releasenotes script to insert the date and done a
one-time pass over the release-* files to add dates to the ones using
the current format (ie back to 3.0).  The last of the changes will be
live on openssh.com shortly.
