After replacing the motherboard (a bad bios update bricked the old one)
I can boot a 64 bit xvm kernel under 2008.11, however booting a 32 bit
xvm kernel hangs after enumerating USB devices. Booting a 32 bit non-xvm
kernel works fine.
The old motherboard had a NVIDIA nForce 680i chipset (Asus P5N32-E SLI),
new one uses the Intel P45 chipset (Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3). Same CPU
(Core 2 Quad) in both cases.
