I''ve got feed from David Edmondson in another thread that xVM kernel in B99 is not supposed to work on Intel CPU''s and that''s a known bug. I am not sure, that when b99 ISO will be available for download any warnings would make people aware of this known feature. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
Any word on the status of this bug? I have a couple nice Xeon servers that I really want to load opensolaris on for XVM hosts, and I can''t get past the kernel panic on boot w/ the XVM kernel. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org

Sorry if this is too newbish for this forum - but I can''t seem to find the info on my own. Is there an easy way to force my fresh install of 0.86 to upgrade to .97 instead of the current .99 build with either pkg or the gui package manager? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org

Do you mean , that *.tar.bz2 archives (b100) for bfu along with xvm won''t be provided or won''t work on b98 ? --- On Wed, 10/15/08, John Levon <john.levon@sun.com> wrote: From: John Levon <john.levon@sun.com> Subject: Re: [xen-discuss] Failure to load xVM kernel for build 99 To: "Adrian" <aoliver@hatfieldgroup.com> Cc: xen-discuss@opensolaris.org Date: Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 7:03 PM On Wed, Oct 15, 2008 at 02:57:53PM -0700, Adrian wrote:> Any word on the status of this bug?
