Hello, I try install RH4u4 on SUN x2200 from 5 CD''s. During installation I must change CD from number 1 to numer 2 and so on.. I did a symlink which I put in config file and when system ask me for second CD, I change symlink to point to the next CD. But after that RH installer write me that CDROM is not accessable. How Can I change CD''s during installation ? Regards Maciej
Actually, RH4U4 DVD ISO image is needed on local file system. Not sure , how is it possible for RH4U4. CentOS 4.6 DVD ISO image wouldn''t be an issue at mean time. This message posted from opensolaris.org
Hi Maciej, You''ll need to first eject the CD from within the domain. Then use xm block-configure to attach the new ISO to the existing virtual CDROM drive. Just step by step instructions or man pages are supposed to be sufficient for suggested procedure.> > Maciej Browarski wrote: > > Hello, > > I try install RH4u4 on SUN x2200 from 5 CD''s. > > During installation I must change CD from number 1 > to numer 2 and so on.. > > I did a symlink which I put in config file and when > system ask me for > > second CD, I change symlink to point to the next > CD. > > But after that RH installer write me that CDROM is > not accessable. > > How Can I change CD''s during installation ? > > > > Regards > > Maciej > > _______________________________________________ > > xen-discuss mailing list > > xen-discuss@opensolaris.org > > -- > > ----------------------------------------------------- > Russ Blaine | Solaris Kernel | russell.blaine@sun.com > _______________________________________________ > xen-discuss mailing list > xen-discuss@opensolaris.orgThis message posted from opensolaris.org
