Hi, 1.) I had mentioned earlier, that the DomUs'' clocks are ticking about 3-4 times faster than on bare metal - or even the underlying Solaris''. X2100 M2, 2GB RAM, 1.8GHz dual-core Opteron, snv_80. Both DomU''s are WinXP''s. Until now (snv_77) I could not synchronise windows'' clocks, so I did it manually in every 2-3 days :) Now I noticed that I can successfully sync with whatever server I try, but only the the firstly started windows''s clock. They start after each other at boot, but if I shut down both, and start in a different order, then I can sync the other winxp''s clock. - I hope it''s clear :) The os''s are almost the same - I copied one image into the same dir with a different name, so the basic settings are the same - they have forked a bit since the copy, but only user-software-wise - the system itself wasn''t touched. It''s weird. 2.) The other would be that it''s mentioned in the changelogs, that (theoretically) from snv_80 onwards, I should get an updated xVM grub entry when using lu. Well, I rebooted into i86pc, did a luupgrade on a prepared alternate BE (I did that BE in x86pc too - could that be the problem?), but the needed packages weren''t even installed, I had to do that manually (SUNWlibvirt, SUNWurlgrabber, SUNWvirtinst, SUNWxvmdomr, SUNWxvmdomu, SUNWxvmh, SUNWxvmhvm, SUNWxvmr,SUNWxvmu). After that everything seems to be fine, so long. Is that my fault, or is it a known problem? thanks, a This message posted from opensolaris.org
