My first post didn''t yield any replies. I''m trying to boot xVM on a Sun X4600 M2 but when almost finished the system crash and does a full reset. When booting again a message saying "A Hyper Transport sync flood error occurred on last boot" is displayed. /var/adm/messages has no error messages and just lokks like this: Oct 31 14:06:09 esonHydra genunix: [ID 936769 kern.info] ucode0 is /pseudo/ucode@0 Oct 31 14:06:09 esonHydra xpvd: [ID 395608 kern.info] balloon@0, balloon0 Oct 31 14:06:09 esonHydra genunix: [ID 936769 kern.info] balloon0 is /xpvd/balloon@0 Oct 31 14:09:44 esonHydra genunix: [ID 540533 kern.notice] ^MSunOS Release 5.11 Version snv_76 64-bit Oct 31 14:09:44 esonHydra genunix: [ID 943907 kern.notice] Copyright 1983-2007 Sun Microsystems, Inc. Hi Bo, Could you try booting on the metal, disabling X ("svcadm disable cde-login"), and then try booting xVM again? Also, is there a crash dump in /var/crash/<hostname> ? - Russ Bo Sundmark wrote:> My first post didn''t yield any replies. > > I''m trying to boot xVM on a Sun X4600 M2 but when almost finished the system crash and does a full reset.
