Hello All, There has been no significant update to this community/project in quite some time. I''m beginning to look seriously at adopting Xen but need to know that this effort a) hasn''t stalled, and b) is making progress. Any updates are greatly appreciated. benr. We have been very busy. :-) We did a very large putback in b57 of all the common changes to Solaris. We are now trying to get the Xen specific changes putback to Nevada in a mid''ish 60 build. We are currently using Xen 3.0.4-1 bits. The most notable changes since the last release is that HVM is up and running and we support PAE in the 32-bit kernel. Of course, there are a lot of other changes too.. :-) This message posted from opensolaris.org
It would be great if you could take a minute or two and put this update on the main page for the Xen community. I''m sitting through a presentation on Xen updates right now, and there are some good things, but Benr''s point (and I agree with it) is a random person who may happen to be curious about the state will hit the site and it will appear to over 6-months dead. We know it''s not true, but it''s not clear to outsiders. This same posting, but on the toplevel page would be great if you could take a minute or two to do it.
