Does Solaris Express 7/06 have Xen 3? I''m new to Solaris and Xen so I''m not sure what I need to make this work... I have an Xeon 5100 system that needs to run Xen 3/Vanderpool. If I could do Solaris dom0 + ZFS and FreeBSD 6.x domU that would be GREAT!... Do I need a miracle to make this work :-) ? -- BSD Podcasts @: http://bsdtalk.blogspot.com/ http://freebsdforall.blogspot.com/

We do have work-in-progress snapshot which is in sync with solaris express b41 http://javashoplm.sun.com/ECom/docs/Welcome.jsp?StoreId=7&PartDetailId=Sol-Express_b41-DVD-x86-SP-G-B&TransactionId=try Once you have b41, the instructions to install the Solaris/Xen bits are at: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/xen/How-To-07-2006/> I have an Xeon 5100 system that needs to run Xen 3/Vanderpool. However, I have just started trying to get a FreeBSD domU up using the following BSD bits.. http://www.fsmware.com/xenofreebsd/7.0/ I haven''t figured out how to specify the root disk yet and console input is not currently working at the point I get too. : solaris-11[1]#; xm create -c freebsd.cfg Using config file "freebsd.cfg".
