[Ocfs2-users] is it possible to have several reflinks of one file ?
Hi, is it possible to have several reflinks of one file ? I'd like to create each day one reflink, for one week, thens start to overwrite them from day to day, so that i never have more than 7 reflinks of the file. Is that possible ? Thanks. Not sure what you mean by overwriting them. If you?re doing this to get a daily snapshot of your data and only keep the last 7, then you can simply delete the earliest one when you create the next one. The reflinked blocks on disk will remain because they?re still referenced by the other 7 reflinks.
