[Ocfs2-users] orphaned inodes, error while running fsck
Hi, We're running a two node ocfs2 cluster on Debian lenny. We're seeing free disk space gradually disappearing (due to orphaned inodes?). This is annoying, but for now we can live with it. We have to regularly shutdown the whole cluster to unmount the partitions, and run fsck -f on it. The problem now is that one of the nodes gives a "Invalid block number while truncating orphan inode" error while running fsck -f, and aborts. So we're unable to reclaim the orphaned inodes from this node. Anyone have any suggestions? Sammy This is a message from the E-MAIL server of Transtrend B.V. [Ocfs2-users] orphaned inodes, error while running fsck
The free space disappearing issue has long since been fixed. You have to upgrade to a newer release to get the fix. Talk to your distribution. As far as the fsck issue goes, file a bugzilla with the info. Sammy Atmadja wrote:> Hi, > > We're running a two node ocfs2 cluster on Debian lenny.
