Hi all, is it possible/acceptable to mount and use an Ocfs2 filesystem on two machines running *different* software level? I.e.: - M1 that runs ocfs2 1.2.3-0.7, kernel drv ver: 1.2.5-SLES-r2997 - M2 that runs ocfs2 1.4.0-0.3, kernel drv ver: 1.4.0-SLES (we are running sles10 sp1 and sp2 on M1 and M2). Is it advisable to run only same-version software? Thanks in advance, Regards Marco
The network protocol differs between 1.2 and 1.4. It won't work.
