Hello, I've buy a new server and I will install DRBD+OCFS2. The SUSE 10.3 have a ocfs2-tools-1.2.6-18 instead the SUSE 11.0 have a ocfs2 1.3.9. 1.3 it's unstable or stable? It work better than 1.2? Or it is better to use the 1.4? Thank you and excuse for my english -- A presto, Aimar Marco
Make sure to remember that it is vital to have matching versions of OCFS2 running on all your nodes. Mixing 1.2 with 1.3 and/or 1.4 can lead to unexpected behaviour at best. -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: ocfs2-users-bounces at oss.oracle.com [mailto:ocfs2-users-bounces at oss.oracle.com] Namens Aimar Marco Verzonden: dinsdag 19 augustus 2008 18:29 Aan: ocfs2-users at oss.oracle.com Onderwerp: [Ocfs2-users] new server and version ocfs2 Hello, I've buy a new server and I will install DRBD+OCFS2. Mostly it's just lacking features. You should use this version (or later) of ocfs2-tools with that kernel so that you have access to the entire feature set. --Mark -- Mark Fasheh
