hi, I?m trying to install ocfs2 beta 6 to configure a Suse SLES 9-cluster and I?m running in some problems. What is the status of the project? it's very active, if you look in svn logs you ll see there are massive amounts of commits. the problem is that I guess the last beta code is the most staqble given that the current code has changed so much. there will be more releases but we have to sit down and figure out a reasonable schedule .. so I wish I could give you details and tons of people ask me every day but I just can't right now. once I get something together that I can trust we will post it on here. sorry that it's happening this way. but it's not dead. Hi Guenther, If you can't wait, you can download the source and compile it. I just did it yesterday, not too hard. I can share my experience if you need. Wim, in last month OW in SF, during the RAC-SIG panel discussion, Oracle Server Tech group stated ASM will remain, but did not mention OCFS as the strategic long term product. Can you comment on this please? Will Oracle dump OCFS in the future and go back to vendor's fs? Or, does Oracle take OCFS as a strategically important piece in the RAC and will continue enhancing it.
