[Ocfs-users] Need any relink of ocfs after kernel upgrade?
Hi, Is there a need to do anything after a kernel upgrade within the same release of Redhat AS 2.1. Any relinking or so? Or does everything work as normal? Thanks in advance Regards Guido Fasbender

Am assuming you mean wrt to ocfs. If you are on x86 (32-bit), RH AS2.1 provides full kernel abi compatibility which allows the same module to work against different AS2.1 kernels. Yes, there are caveats... if your module uses a newly exported symbol, it will not work on older kernels, yada-yada-yada.
