all, I am in the process of installing 9i RAC @ dell & emc. Linux kernel is 2.4.9-e.40smp I need help on verifying the following fileutils and tar package. There is different in the package version between "oss" and "redhat" site. I know that I need to go to the latest package but my customer insists that the latest package should come from redhat.
