[Nut-upsuser] CyberPower PR1500LCDRT2U via serial port
I'm trying to access a Cyber Power PR1500LCDRT2U via the serial port (because I need the use the USB connection for a windows machine), but not having any luck with the powerpanel driver. Any other suggestions? To clarify, did you connect it with both USB and serial links? It may be possible that the hardware/firmware prefers one over another, to avoid ambiguity, and so the serial port is just not listened to? Just in case, it is fairly easy to check by unplugging the USB. Not sure if cycling the UPS would be needed... Also, on the Windows side, isn't NUT for Windows (at least the upsmon part to MONITOR the upsd on a Linux/Unix server and initiate local shutdown) a viable option nowadays - even if not properly packaged yet (just a tarball with "make install"'ed binaries from CI)?
