Debain (Linux) kernel (2.6.24)
I am using NUT(network ups tools) ver. 2.2.2 to monitor my ns1200(model bn1250g)
I disconnect power and use the command to force shutdown "critical
bat", upsmon -c fsd,
and this is what I receive. The outcome is the same if I wait for the battery to
drain.(have tried on 3 ups, same model)
0 seconds "low bat" (upsmon -c fsd)
5 seconds shutdown started
20 seconds system halts & power down
112 ups lcd and master plug power down, 3buttons stay lit
145 ups 3 buttons turn off
155 I restore ac power " plug into wall"
205 I power on my pc(my system won't boot on AC loss, proxmox2 does)
253 receive logon screen
no problems
problems
0 seconds "low bat" (upsmon -c fsd)
5 seconds shutdown started
10 I restore AC power "plug into wall"
Ac power can be restored at any time from here to just before the leds in the 3
buttons go
out and produce the same outcome, 145 seconds above
20 seconds system halts & power down
112 ups lcd and master plug power down, 3 buttons stay lit.
115 ups lcd and master plug power up, online status on lcd.
(the time I power up the system can vary but the time between system power up
and
ups "on bat"& power down is the same "on bat at compact
screen every time")
128 I power up the system "power button"
135 ups goes "on bat", system is at compact bios screen.
251 ups lcd and master plug power down, 3 buttons stay lit.
255 ups lcd and master plug power up, online status on lcd.
I have tried removing the usb cable when the pc shuts down, after power fail,
and plugging it back in when after the ups and pc have been on for about 15-20
minutes, and the ups goes into its shutdown sequence as soon as I plug the usb
cable back in.
