Nut upsuser - Feb 2009 - Solved: Master privileges unavailable on UPS

Hello Everybody,

I solved a case of where the logging gave "Master privileges unavailable 
on UPS".
Everything in the configuration files did seem right, user nut had 
access to the com port but changing setting would simply fail.

The issue in the end was that all the software run as "nut" but all
the
files where owned my root and not world readable.

chown nut:nut /etc/nut/*
chmod 600 /etc/nut/*

and all was fixed!
