[Nut-upsuser] APC Ups with auto port fails to shut down
Hi, I have set the driver name to newhidups and the port to auto. The status of the UPS is connected but it does not shutdown when the FINALDELAY value in the upsmon.conf is reached. If I change the port value in the ups.conf from auto to a specific port value, it works fine. Any ideas? If I leave the specific port value, when it shuts down, this value changes and get reassigned, which is not the desired solution. Also, how are you setting permissions on the USB device node?
