Nut upsuser - Nov 2006 - Spurious messages on start

When I start or restart nut I get three spurious messages as
everything starts up:

UPS mge1200@localhost is unavailable
Communications with UPS mge1200@localhost lost
Communications with UPS mge1200@localhost established

Any way around this?

I see the same stuff when I use my USB ports.

Try setting MAXAGE in upsd.conf to something like 25 or 30.
