Nut upsuser - Apr 2006 - newhidups crashes intermittently (double free or corruption)

Hi,

I'm running nut 2.0.3 on Gentoo connected to an MGE ProtectionCenter
675. newhidups intermittently crashes. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, this address doesn't help unless you have debugging
symbols for the newhidups driver. Is this compiled from a Gentoo
package, or straight from source?

Also, does the driver dump core?
