Hi all.
my boss have buy one ups for me, but he have me question before. now i
need install this ups and control to my servers, but tripplite insist
that i need install de X in order to use its program.
now, i have understand that nut can control the smart-pro series. but i
intend uses the tripplite driver and receive this error:
Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.0.2
Network UPS Tools - Tripp-Lite SmartUPS driver 0.8 (2.0.2)
Failed to find UPS - giving up...
Driver failed to start (exit status=1)
now, i have also intended install with the usb cable but this not
working because the usb freeze the pc.
the actual configuration is:
[tripplite]
driver = tripplite
port = /dev/ttyS0
desc = "Monitoreo"
that have i understand in the documentation from nuts.
the version is the 2.0.2
and te platform is the fedora core 3.
the specific model is the
Smart - Pro SMX 3000 XLRT2U
any sugestion or idea?
