This should be fixed in 4.12, which has acceleration support for GP10x cards.

Ah, nice thanks, I thought 4.11.x was including needed fixes (well, I only need
nouveau support to try to make my HDMI output work with reverse PRIME). I guess
I will need to wait a bit more then :)

In that case, you don't need acceleration support. Ignore that "failed
to
create kernel channel" error.
