[Nouveau] [Bug 89910] Max resolution of 1024x768 with nouveau
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89910 --- Comment #3 from Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> --- Actually, perhaps you meant "Max resolution of 1024x768 without nouveau"? I see no hint of nouveau being used in any of your logs. In fact, you very explicitly disable it by passing "nomodeset" on the kernel command line. Also, fyi, nouveau-firmware is something very old and very unused. And also, unless you have one of a very limited types of hw, nouveau.config=NvGrUseFW=1 is more likely to do more harm than good. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... The nouveau.config was added by me trying to find solve the issue. Finally removing both settings solved the resoulution problem. Thank you very much. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
