Nouveau - Dec 2014 - Intel KVMGT-like solution with Nouveau

At the risk of asking a dumb question, is there any chance of something
similar happening for Nouveau?

Short answer: Yes.

Medium answer: I'm very slowly getting around to hacking up a
proof-of-concept.  I'd really love to tackle this, there's always more
stuff to do though..  I'm not sure how much like the Intel solution it
will look however.  There's some very cool things about the way NVIDIA
GPUs are designed that should make this a lot nicer to do.
