debug info from steam.sh

After trying to load steam, I have come across an error at line 704 that
prevents steam from properly starting.  Attached is the debug information from
the crash:

Can you get a backtrace of the crash

1. Install mesa,libgl,nouveau symbols
2. Set gdb as STEAM_DEBUGGER 
$ export STEAM_DEBUGGER=gdb
3. run steam

Additionally it would be appreciated if you can provide more information as to
what software you have on your system (ie. mesa, nouveau-dri and kernel
version) and some logs (dmesg & Xorg.log)

How did you arrive at this being a nouveau bug? Sounds like a steam issue, or
something else. Debug it a little further using the steps that Emil suggested.
If it _does_ turn out to be a nouveau bug, feel free to reopen this.
