Hi

When I insert my HDMI cable in my GeForce GT 540M laptop, I get the following
message:
Sep  5 07:43:53 laptop-jl kernel: [   69.233511] [drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: no
native mode, forcing panel scaling

As noted in https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54512 this could be a
nouveau bug.

The attached dmesg.txt should give all the info in the other bug.
If some more debug,info is needed, i'm happy to supply it :)

I do not see such an error message in the current kernel sources. Please
re-test with the latest kernel, and if the problem persists, please provide the
monitor's EDID (/sys/class/drm/card0-HDMI-1/edid).
