[Nouveau] [Bug 26964] New: Tearing video playback if XRender enabled
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26964 Summary: Tearing video playback if XRender enabled Product: xorg Version: 7.5 Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Driver/nouveau AssignedTo: nouveau at lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: runetmember at gmail.com QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org Enabling XRender composite mode gives tearing video playback problem. "UnredirectFullscreen=true" in [Compositing] section of ~/.kde/share/config/kwinrc solves problem, but only for fullscreen playback. Disabling composing completly solves problem, but it not suitable. In testing I use xv video output, because x11 and gl output methods have bad performance at all. Also, why I ask about this problem here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=229990 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
