MasterView 0.2.0 is released. Should be available for gem download soon (in the past it seemed to take 30 minutes or so for the update to be there, don''t know if the same is true for current hardware). I have updated the docs on masterview.org with those from docs. Last thing to do is to send out release announcement to rails and masterview-announce list. I will wait for gem to be available and then will send it out. Thanks for all your hard work Deb, it really looks good! Jeff -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Jeff - outstanding! Lot of good stuff in this update and I''m looking forward to tackling some additional problems (better image support, multiple name spaces for directives). I just stored a couple comment fixes in the prototype config settings files - you probably didn''t pick up for the build, but that''s ok, they''re not critical. One more thing we need to do today is create the release tags in the repository. Might need to be a bit careful (sorry, my bad): rev. 159 was your final tweaks to release docs; revs 160-162 were my config file updates (examples + cloned copies for plugin generator). Believe tags/masterview-0.2.0 should be copy of rev. 159, what you probably had when you ran the build; then we delete and recreate tags/masterview as a copy of tags/masterview-0.2.0. I''ll do that later today if you want. [and add to our TODO: automate this in our rakefile before we do next release!] and thx for the nice plug in your updated docs. It''s a pleasure working with you! Have a great time at RailsConf, hopefully you can get some visibility and we can get some feedback and users. ~ Deb _____ From: masterview-devel-bounces at rubyforge.org [mailto:masterview-devel-bounces at rubyforge.org] On Behalf Of Jeff Barczewski Sent: Wednesday, June 21, 2006 11:40 AM To: dlewis at glaivestone.com; masterview-devel at rubyforge.org Subject: [Masterview-devel] MasterView 0.2.0 is released MasterView 0.2.0 is released. I fired off the announcement to rails mailing list and to masterview-announce, let me know if you don''t get it. It showed up in the archives for masterview-announce and on the rails mailing list web bridge but I didn''t get it directly probably because I sent it. Do we need to post to masterview-users as well or simply to masterview-announce? I would think just the announce list. If you have time yes, make the release tag, I didn''t do that yet. I am going to be busy this afternoon with other work. I will keep you posted from the conference, I think they will have wireless. There might even be an opportunity for me to demo it starting tomorrow, they are going to have a room for adhoc presentations for the early arrivals. I rcv''d from both -devel and -announce. And yes, should also send to -users. That''s fairly customary, I think (i get double-announcements from lists where I''m on both user and announce lists, eg. subversion and subclipse) I''ll take care of the release tag. ~ Deb -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
