Wikipedia Markup Evolved. Adding Markdown Goodies ;-) - Wikipedia Markup Cheatsheet for Text with Instructions (.texti)
Hello, What if you could write (or edit) your next Wikipedia article in Markdown? Am I dreaming? Let's make it a reality. To start let's evolve the Wikipedia Markup and add some Markdown goodies. See the Wikipedia Markup Cheetsheet for Text with Instructions (.texti) [1] for a start. Thoughts? Comments? It doesn't provide any real improvements to either wiki or md> What is actually needed (but probably won't ever happen) is a version of markdown that > provides the structure and semantics of .rstCheers.
