Hi all, I placed some markers in a database. With google maps, they seem to be in the right place. With openlayers, a lat of "52" must be "142" to be placed correctly. Did i miss anything on that behavior? Cheers, Guido -- Guido Gallenkamp
Hi Guido, Are the values for latitude and longitude inverted? Which build are you using? Think an issue like this was fixed a while back but maybe it''s either not merged into trunk yet or it''s a related issue. Hey Derek, i am using the "official" lat / lon system. so, Germany is at about latitude 52. When I want a marker over germany, I need to add exactly 90 to the latitudes value. With 142 its in the right place. Values are not inverted. I am also struggling with finding any info about mapstractions features at all. Ah, so you''re not having to change the longitude value as well? Weird. Sounds like there''s definitely something wrong there, latitude of 142 makes no sense whatever system you''re using. Regarding information about features, there''s full API docs is that''s what you meant. http://mapstraction.com/mxn/build/latest/docs/ Derek On Feb 4, 2012 4:32 PM, "Guido Gallenkamp" <guido.gallenkamp at googlemail.com> wrote:> Hey Derek, > > i am using the "official" lat / lon system. so, Germany is at about > latitude 52.
