[Mapstraction] OpenSpace support for mapstraction
Attached is patch to provide support for OpenSpace in mapstraction. A demo can be seen at http://yvonnesplants.co.uk/openspace_demo.html. Note that OpenSpace seems sometimes to have a problem with links clicked from email. If you get an error ''HTTP referrer not valid'' then open a new browser window and paste in the link and it should be ok. The following features are not supported: declutterMarkers() showRoute() addImageOverlay() addOverlay() addTileLayer() toggleTileLayer() Polyline.show() and hide() Marker.setInfoDiv(), setDraggable(), setHoverIcon(), setShadowIcon(), openBubble() Map type control (if requested in addControls() this provides ability to switch on/off layers and markers) setMapType() and getMapType() Everything else should work. Thanks for these! Was just talking to Ian at Where2.0 about it. Great to see it show up so quickly. However, I can''t actually view the demo. I ran into the problem you mentioned by clicking on the email link. I then copied & pasted it into a another Safari window - same problem. I then opened up Firefox and C&P''d, same problem. I''m in the US, on a Mac. What is this problem indicative of? [Mapstraction] OpenSpace support for mapstraction
I have realised that it is my fault. The correct address is http://www.yvonnesplants.co.uk/openspace_demo.html Attempting to open wrong URL, missing www (which works except that the url does not match the OpenSpace key) fetches a version of the OpenSpace script that just displays the error message. Unfortunately correcting the URL does not necessarily correct the problem as the browser may have cached the error script. It may be necessary to clear the browser''s cache also. It caused me some confusion as when I checked the link initially it appeared to be ok as this time the working script had been cached. Sorry for the confusion. Great - I''ll patch it in. I also like the demo you''ve built - I hope you don''t mind if I use it for all the demos?
