What became of the ''Open Benchmark for Lustre'' initiative? I
see the
announcement here:

I see also the domain name ''openbenchmarkforlustre.org'' has
expired, but
can''t find anything beyond that.

Anyone know more about how/why it failed?

I suppose that the domain was allowed to lapse because everything is being
run on the OpenSFS site. The wiki is at
http://wiki.opensfs.org/Benchmarking_Working_Group and the mailing list is
at http://lists.opensfs.org/listinfo.cgi/openbenchmark-opensfs.org
