Lustre discuss - Nov 2010 - Performance of 40 GbE Ethernet

Hi,

Does anyone has experience with 40 GbE ethernet with Lustre ? How much
throughput are you getting with such link connecting clients and oss, mds?

I have setup a Lustre cluster(1 MDS node + 3 OST nodes) with 40Gb Infiniband 
RNIC on each node. The switch is Mellanox MTS3600. With simple test, the 
parallel read from 20 separate files could get 8Gbps at least.
