[Lustre-discuss] LustreError: lookup/take lock error -13
Does anyone recognise the following logs: Jul 15 18:24:40 cs04r-sc-mds01-01 kernel: LustreError: 17241:0:(mds_open.c:1053:mds_open()) parent 121938276/854916762 lookup/take lock error -13 Jul 15 18:24:40 cs04r-sc-mds01-01 kernel: LustreError: 17241:0:(mds_open.c:1053:mds_open()) Skipped 5 previous similar messages Jul 15 18:24:42 cs04r-sc-mds01-01 kernel: LustreError: 8283:0:(mds_open.c:1053:mds_open()) parent 121938276/854916762 lookup/take lock error -13 Jul 15 18:24:42 cs04r-sc-mds01-01 kernel: LustreError: 8283:0:(mds_open.c:1053:mds_open()) Skipped 5 previous similar messages Jul 15 18:25:17 cs04r-sc-mds01-01 kernel: LustreError: 8284:0:(mds_open.c:1053:mds_open()) parent 121938276/854916762 lookup/take lock error -13 Jul 15 18:25:17 cs04r-sc-mds01-01 kernel: LustreError: 8284:0:(mds_open.c:1053:mds_open()) Skipped 11 previous similar messages I cant find anything similar on google or bugzilla (I may be looking for the wrong things of course). It coincides roughly with some I/O errors observed on NFS clients of a Lustre exporter. Nothing shows up in the logs of the lustre client/nfs exporter. Lustre servers are running 2.6.18-128.7.1.el5.ddn1.l1.6.7.2.ddn3smp x86_64 with a very slightly modified lustre 1.6.7.2.ddn3.5 What information can I extract from those logs? (I got the -13 EACCES but permission denied for what?) many thanks GREG -- Greg Matthews 01235 778658 Senior Computer Systems Administrator Diamond Light Source, Oxfordshire, UK
