Lustre discuss - Jun 2010 - about timeout

Dear all!

Inside the Lustre Filesystem, if the stat of a request from client become
timeout, what will the client do? Will it resend the request or do something
else? Would you please give me some advice?

The client will try to resend forever, until either the request  
succeeds or the process is interrupted.
