Hi Guys, I am setting up our new Lustre environment and was wondering what is the recommended (stable) HA clustering software to use with the MDS and OSS failover. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -J -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Hi Jagga, Linux HA (heartbeat) is known to work quite well with Lustre. Check Lustre manual for details. Also, pacemaker is overtaking heartbeat and you may not find old rpms. Alternatively, you can download heartbeat packages from http://dlc.sun.com/linux_hpc/yum/sunhpc/2.0.1/rhel/base/x86_64/SunHPC/ Cheers, -Atul Jagga Soorma wrote:> Hi Guys, > > I am setting up our new Lustre environment and was wondering what is > the recommended (stable) HA clustering software to use with the MDS > and OSS failover. Instead the projects openais and pacemaker replaced the funcionallity of heartbeat. For the new project please see www.clusterlabs.org A introduction into pacemaker can be found at: http://www.clusterlabs.org/doc/en- US/Pacemaker/1.0/html/Pacemaker_Explained/index.html Greetings,
