[Lustre-discuss] Lustre deactivated ost error verry strange.
i am getting a strange error Dec 28 09:50:06 nas-0-1 kernel: LustreError: 137-5: UUID ''work-OST0000_UUID'' is not available for connect (no target) Dec 28 09:50:06 nas-0-1 kernel: LustreError: Skipped 3169 previous similar messages when i investigate the /proc/fs/lustre directory i find that there is no work-OST0000 device there is only a work-OST0001device i have deactivated the work-OST0000 device in lctl but is there a way to delete an ost the documentation is not that clear root at nas-0-1 lustre]# cd obdfilter/ [root at nas-0-1 obdfilter]# ls home-OST0002 home-OST0003 num_refs scratch-OST0002 scratch-OST0003 work-OST0001 work-OST0002 work-OST0007 work-OST0008 [root at nas-0-1 obdfilter]# i have been googling for a way to delete the OST but i cant seem to find one.
