Lustre discuss - Nov 2009 - stack size

Hi all,

When I compiled Lustre from source,an error occurred:

"checking stack size big than 8k... configure: error: Lustre requires that
Linux is configured with at least a 8KB stack."

I used the ulimit tool to set the stack size to unlimited,and also modified
/etc/security/limits.conf  and /etc/profile .When I reboot my system and
compiled Lustre again,the same error occurred.I wonder how to fix this
problem.

Hi,
	You need to disable "4KB stack" kernel config option using make
menuconfig and then re-compile the kernel.
