[Lustre-discuss] "Building Lustre, Protocol Basics, and Debugging" presentation
Hello All, I was intrigued by this slide show http://wiki.lustre.org/images/1/1f/Lug_johann.pdf I have a question on slide 5 Kernel patches needed> Re-add journal callback support in jbd > Jbd fixes & statistics > scsi disk statistics? could be removed if blktrace enabled> Export some symbols used by lustre > API for setting block device read-only > ...What is the purpose of these extra kernel patches? I was under the impression on Lustre patch for the kernel is needed for the MDS/OSS. Where can I find a full list the patches I need to "enchance" our OSS/MDS? TIA
