[Lustre-discuss] Lustre Patchless Client SUSE 2.6.16.46
Hi, I have big Troubles getting Lustre running on SUSE EL 10 SP1. Due to the fact that I need to run a Stornext Client 3.02 which is only possible with Kernel 2.6.16.46-0.12 on the same machine I desperately need to install Lustre 1.6.7.1 Patchless Client on that kernel. I tried to build lustre from sources, but when I start and load lustre, via mount -t lustre MDS_IP at tcp:/lustre /mnt/lustre, /var/log/ messages tells me the following stuff: May 4 13:59:49 holygrail kernel: libcfs: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
