Hi All, I am planning to migrate from 1.6.5.52 (MDS, MDT, OST, OSS) to the latest stable 1.6.6. The clients are already at 1.6.6. I was wondering if I should do anything special other than backup my most critical data. I suppose if I just upgrade my kernel with new lustre support, I should be just able to mount everything up with no problems. Also, what would happen if the MDS was only upgraded and not OST volumes? TIA

We support rolling upgrades and officially support releases n-1 and n+1 simultaneously -- although in practise we usually support more than 1 version +/- -- there are just no guarantees beyond +/-1. b. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Thankyou Brian! Hopefully when 2.0 comes out no kernel modules should be needed ;-) On Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 10:12 AM, Brian J.
