Hi folks, Just a quick one, is there any gotcha''s I need to look out for when running i386 32 bit lustre clients (CentOS 5) with x86 64 bit lustre mds and oss''s (CentOS 5) ? I''ve already been testing with iozone successfully with a 64 bit client, but would not like to move to testing with the application which sits on a JVM in a 32 bit environment. I wouldn''t quite call it a "cluster" though - just a few boxes. Yes, it is in fact connected to my MythTV systems and is also my home file server.> On 11/9/07 3:44 PM, "Andreas Dilger" <adilger at sun.com>did etch on stone > tablets: > > On Nov 09, 2007 11:48 +0000, Matt wrote: > >> Just a quick one, is there any gotcha''s I need to look out for when running > >> i386 32 bit lustre clients (CentOS 5) with x86 64 bit lustre mds and oss''s > >> (CentOS 5) ? > > > > No, this should work fine and in fact I run my home system in this config > > all the time.Cheers, Andreas -- Andreas Dilger Sr. Software Engineer, Lustre Group Sun Microsystems of Canada, Inc.
