Any progress on getting 1.6.2 for 2.6.20? Also what is the status on 1.7.9? We saw it on the website, but not much more information. Thanks, Robert Robert LeBlanc College of Life Sciences Computer Support Brigham Young University leblanc at byu.edu (801)422-1882
The debian package maintainers have been busy bee''s and have gotten lustre 1.6.2 up to 2.6.21''ish so you are welcome to try them out. ;) check out the svn repository svn://svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-lustre. As for official lustre support not sure when that''s going to happen. Thanks, - David Brown On 9/6/07, Robert LeBlanc <robert at leblancnet.us> wrote:> Any progress on getting 1.6.2 for 2.6.20? After this is fixed we''ll upload it. So you are of course free to try out and to help us sort out problems :) Greetings Patrick Winnertz> > check out the svn repository svn://svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-lustre. > > As for official lustre support not sure when that''s going to happen. >-- Patrick Winnertz Tel.: +49 (0) 2161 / 4643 - 0 credativ GmbH, HRB M?nchengladbach 12080 Hohenzollernstr. 133, 41061 M?nchengladbach Gesch?ftsf?hrung: Dr. Michael Meskes, J?rg Folz

The debian package now has patches for 2.6.18, 2.6.20, 2.6.22 that compile successfully and in the case of 2.6.20 survive a test boot. I haven''t test booted 2.6.18 and 2.6.22 yet. You can fetch the latest source from http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-lustre The simplest way for debian user is to use svn-buildpackage and the make-kpkg to build the kernel and modules. Alternatively unpack the 1.6.2 tarball and then copy trunk/. into it before running debuild. MfG Goswin
