Lustre discuss - Jun 2007 - Directory entry persistance in Lustre?

Hi,


I''m trying to figure out the following problem: what is the correct  
procedure in Lustre to make sure that a file which I create makes it  
to disk both on the OSS and on the MDS? I can fsync() it but does  
that also guarantee the MDS flushes the changes in the directory to  
disk? Are there any other options (like mount with "dsync")?
