It is currently undergoing final testing and is expected to be released fairly soon. Cheers, Andreas -- Andreas Dilger Principal Software Engineer Cluster File Systems, Inc.
What version of the kernel are you running in SLES10? And what version of the kernel was the tar file you were trying to compile against? -Aaron ??.? wrote:> ----- Original Message ----- > *From: *??.? <mailto:turingcat@gmail.com> > *To: *lustre-discuss <mailto:lustre-discuss@clusterfs.com> > *Sent: *2006-11-24, 16:09:34 > *Subject: *How to get patches > > I am a newer in using Lustre,now a days I try to install > lustre-1.4.7.3 on SLES10,but the kernel in SLES10 is newer than the > lustre rpm files,then I tried to compile the tar file with kernel > source,but failed.Anyone can give me some help?how can I install > lustre1.4.7.3 on SLES10? > > Thanks a lot! > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > _______________________________________________ > Lustre-discuss mailing list > Lustre-discuss@clusterfs.com > https://mail.clusterfs.com/mailman/listinfo/lustre-discuss >
You have a couple options as I see it. You can actually download the RHEL4 kernels and run them under SLES10. The RHEL4 kernels are running at version 2.6.9. Could you give me any error messages that you got while trying to compile against either the 2.6.16 or the 2.6.18.3 kernel? ??.? wrote:> Aaron Knister the version of kernel in SLES10 is 2.6.16-21 and i tried > to compile against kernel 2.6.18.3 which i downloaded at kernel.org,is > there problems that i never patch the sles''patch~i tried to compile > against kernel kernel-source-2.6.16.25.src.rpm which i downloaded at > suse''ftp site, but failed either~ > ??.??turingcat@gmail.com > <mailto:%3C%21--AID_FROMADDRESS_BEGIN--%3Eturingcat@gmail.com%3C%21--AID_FROMADDRESS_END--%3E> > 2006-11-25 > > ----- Original Message ----- > *From: *Aaron Knister <mailto:aaron@cola.iges.org> > *To: *turingcat <mailto:turingcat@gmail.com> > *Sent: *2006-11-25, 01:54:07 > *Subject: *Re: [Lustre-discuss] How to get patches > > What version of the kernel are you running in SLES10?
