Lustre discuss - Sep 2006 - performance issue with o2ib NAL ?

Hi,

I''ve setup a couple of boxes with SLES10, OFED-1.1rc6 and Lustre-1.5.95

n32: mgs + mdt + ost1 (sdb2,sdb3,sdb4), mounts ost1
n31: mounts ost1 over o2ib

- ''dd if=/dev/zero bs=1k count=500k'' writes at 40MB/s on n32

- the same ''dd'' on n31 writes only at 12.5MB/s. I can see that
the NAL
  thread on n32 only uses 5% of cpu.

Do you know why i''m getting poor performance when writting to
lustre''s ost
from n31 to n32 using o2ib nal ?
