Lustre discuss - Aug 2006 - Two Disks on a mds?

Can one mds contain two disks?

As discussed before one ost can only 
contain one disk and one lov can contain
more than one osts. Thus in a lov, files 
can be striped over disks.

   But can one lov contain more than one
mds or can one mds contain more than one disks?

    I try lmc tool but fails.

Both the OST and MDT filesystems can be stored on an arbitrary
number of disks through the use of LVM/DM/RAID.  The MDT
filesystem can be on only a single block device, and there can
currently only be a single MDT per filesystem.
