Yes, of course we would be interested! In fact we put in place (for
Linux 2.4) the Direct IO structure which Oracle requires (which iirc
requires the FS to do direct IO at sector, not block boundaries).
However, this project has never been completed.
Lustre is POSIX compliant it shouldn''t be too hard to get this off the
ground.
