Lustre discuss - May 2006 - questin about multi network interface of lustre

hi,

I have MDS with two GigaE interface and give MDS two hostnames when running
lwizard.Also I have a client with same config (two hostname coresponding two
ethernet interface).It''s ok when mount with first MDS hostname.But when
I
mout lustre on client side with anather MDS hostname, it reported
Input/Output error. I don''t know exactly how to benefit from  two
ethernet
interface?  Good performance or better availability?
Any one give me a answer? Thanks !
